If you read information where the writer claims that Fiorentino and Para-Tech sea- anchors are the same, don't believe it!

Both companies build their parachute anchors differently. We want you to have the information you need to decide which anchor is best for you. All our parachute anchors offer our patented stainless Para-Ring® and swivel as seen below. It's a major difference that makes our parachute anchors efficient and effective. TRUE CLOSE-UP:
This is an original Fiorentino Coastal model built with 8 oz., "first grade" materials. Our coastal para-anchor has always been yellow.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
This is an original white Para-Tech sea anchor. Today, the company promotes a yellow color instead. Thin, 2-4 oz., "second grade" materials are used. This is not the same as
Fiorentino's Coastal Anchor.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
Fiorentino attaches commercial fishing shroud lines (round braid) to a stainless Para-Ring® and swivel. This helps elliminate tangles and provides a longer lasting device.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
Para-Tech attaches a galvanized shackle to
flat webbed shroud lines. There may be an additional charge for a swivel.  Fiorentino's research demonstrates that traditional shackle arrangements can be vulnerable to tangles.

The Para-Tech trip line (white) can be purchased on the internet for approximately $80. Compare that to Fiorentino's easy attachment trip-line for for only $117 .Read more.
